Hiking Trails Greater Seattle – From Mt Rainier to Mt. Baker and from the Sound to the Cascades. There are so many options to explore this beautiful place! Whether you’re an experienced hiker or looking for some more casual family fun there’s not many places that compare to the Pacific Northwest.

Hiking Trails Of Greater Seattle

Hiking South

Check out the Issaquah Alps which includes Cougar Mountain and Tiger Mountain. The Mount Rainier area has several trails to explore and so does the Snoqualmie Region.

Hiking North

Up north you can spend a lot of time exploring. The North Cascades offer some great trails along Mountain Loop Hwy. So does Mt. Baker which is spectacular and don’t forget about Oyster Dome which has some amazing views of the Sound.

Hiking Trails With Water Falls

There are some beautiful waterfalls along some of these hikes like Wallace Falls, Falls Creek Falls, and Franklin Falls just to name a few. For us dog lovers just about all the trails available are dog friendly some off leash and some leashes are required so check before you go. If you want to stay closer to home then check out the local parks! Greater Seattle is the home to some great parks with hiking trails!

Go find some of the amazing lakes these hikes take you to. Mirror Lake is really cool and so is Snow Lake among others.

If you want to stay closer to home then check out the local parks! Greater Seattle is the home to some great parks with hiking trails! Discovery Park, Meadowdale Park and Lord Hill Regional are just a few of many!

As you can see if you like to get out in nature and spend the day (or three!) exploring some of the most unique scenery in the world then the Greater Seattle area is just the place! If you plan on hiking winter to spring make sure to check the trail and road conditions before you go because it could be a little icy!
