Up north you can spend a lot of time exploring. The North Cascades offer some great trails along Mountain Loop Hwy. So does Mt. Baker which is spectacular and don’t forget about Oyster Dome which has some amazing views of the Sound.

For us dog lovers just about all the trails available are dog friendly some off leash and some leashes are required so check before you go.
