Wanting to move from Lopez Island was daunting. I went house hunting on the mainland. That's when I first met Milaina West, while closing an open house for the day. It was at least 10-15 past the open house hours. I happened to get there before they drove away. I was very impressed that Milaina walked me through the house after hours! Coordination of all of this was confusing for me and of course stressful. When I returned and signed on with Milaina West group they gave 110% towards the repair/renovation of the sale of the Lopez home. The group sent out a team and took about 5 days to prepare my home for sale. Working tirelessly over 10 hour days. I worked diligently on packing, selling, giving away stuff. All said and done my home had a full price offer within 6 days of listing!!! That was remarkable as homes typically can take months to a year on the island to sell. Now to find a new home. I went out with Milaina 2 or 3 times when I found the perfect place for me. Every time Milaina encouraged me that I would find the perfect place. Her support kept me hopeful. I love my new home and am in contact with the Milaina West group regularly. They help with finding contractors, services, and offer their much-needed support! I was a very nervous Nelly through the entire process. Milaina West group calmed me and helped me maintain a positive thought process with a positive outcome. Milaina even went the extra mile and helped load her vehicle with the final load from lopez island. Not many people would do that extra. Without their guidance, support, and help I may have given up. All in all from beginning to end the process only took 8 weeks from start to finish! I am now the happy owner of a smaller, one level, home with everything I need.
